Terms of Service

1. Overview of Services

Zapphire Ink Publications provides a range of services designed to support independent authors and creative entrepreneurs, including but not limited to:

• Publishing services (manuscript editing, cover design, formatting, ISBN registration, distribution, and Amazon KDP setup)
• Author consulting and strategy sessions
• Mentorship programs
• Educational and informational resources

By engaging with our services, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined herein. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("the Client") and Zapphire Ink Publications ("the Company").

2. Payment Terms

All fees for services are due in full prior to the commencement of any work, as outlined in the service agreement or invoice provided at the time of booking. Zapphire Ink Publications does not offer payment plans.

A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your project slot. Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in project delays or suspension of services.

3. Refund Policy

All sales are final. Zapphire Ink Publications maintains a strict no-refund policy under any and all circumstances. Once payment has been made, no refunds will be issued regardless of the reason. Due to the custom and labor-intensive nature of our services, this policy is non-negotiable.

Consultation session fees are non-refundable. Rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session. No-shows will not be refunded or rescheduled.

All projects are subject to timeline adjustments at the sole discretion of the publisher in order to provide the author with the best possible publishing experience.

4. Intellectual Property & Ownership

All intellectual property rights, including but not limited to the manuscript, story content, characters, and related creative works, remain the sole property of the Client at all times. The Client retains 100% of all royalties and rights to their work. Zapphire Ink Publications takes zero royalties and operates exclusively as a service-based hybrid publisher.

Cover designs, formatting templates, and other deliverables created by Zapphire Ink Publications become the property of the Client upon full payment. Zapphire Ink Publications reserves the right to display completed work in its portfolio for promotional purposes unless the Client requests otherwise in writing.

5. Limitation of Liability

Zapphire Ink Publications shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of revenue, profits, or data.

Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the specific service in question.

Zapphire Ink Publications does not guarantee specific sales results, rankings, or commercial outcomes from our publishing or consulting services. Our role is to provide professional guidance and execution; market results depend on numerous factors beyond our control.

6. Modifications

Zapphire Ink Publications reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time with a minimum of 30 days notice. Changes will be communicated via our website and/or email notification. Continued use of our services after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
